With more than nineteen years of experience maturated in United States, Italy and Argentina, Moira works in the graphic design and motion graphics scene both in professional and academic approaches.
After receiving her degree in Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires, she has continued her own professional formation following motion graphics, technology and multimedia courses at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) and Santa Monica College (Los Angeles, USA).
Moira has been part of the in-house creative team of free television channels as CBS (Los Angeles, USA) and America TV (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and has collaborated as a freelance Art Director in productions for satellite channels as Fox Life (Italy), National Geographic Channels (Italy and Los Angeles, USA) and Fox Kids (Los Angeles, USA). She has also been Art Director for Frame by Frame (post-production and motion graphics house, Rome – Italy).
Since the beginning of 2007 she has consolidated and lead MU, a strategy, creative and design boutique studio, with a collective experience of over 200 TV networks launched worldwide. In the past few years MU has provided strategic and creative consulting or services for the launch of TV channels in all 5 continents, including: ZooMoo (Latam), Hits (South East Asia), Cielo (Italy), PNG1 (Papua New Guinea), SKY Sports (Italy), Fox Sports (Japan), etc.
Her projects have received numerous international awards and recognitions (PROMAX / BDA / NY Film Festival).
Moira has been head of the VIDEO DESIGN program at the ISTITUTO EUROPEO DI DESIGN (IED) in Rome –a 3 year course focused on video production and motion graphics-, since 2008 until 2014. She has also been teaching the subject of Motion Graphics’s Project for 11 years.
She developed and taught the academic program of Integrated Media at OTIS College of Art and Design (Los Angeles, USA) and has also participated in the development and teaching of the subjects Project 1 and 2, Typography 2 and Morphology 1 at the UNIVERSITY OF BUENOS AIRES for the degree course in Graphic Design.

MU is also a content development, production and distribution company. Its first original production was sold in over 70 countries worldwide, with great ratings success. Its first series distributed, Hostal Morrison, was recently sold to Cartoon Latin America and its currently being negotiated to arrive in Europe, US and Asia.
During his tenure, FIC grew from a small regional network into a billion dollar global empire with more than forty offices around the world.
Based in Rome, Sandor was key to the development of FIC’s 300 channels, helping establish its global network of creatives, marketers, and programmers throughout the world. TV channels created by Sandor, are now in a leadership position in more than 100 countries.
Rafael managed the company’s efforts to achieve economies of scale and establish best practices in all channel development areas of the company. Mr. Sandor also supported the main affiliate and ad sales initiatives and assisted business development teams with content strategy and creative resources.
As part of the four people “parashooters team” who landed in Italy to start-up the company in January 2003, has been key to all strategy and development of the company, from creative to business, from content development, programming strategy and operations.
In 2007, at the moment of leaving the Italian operation to take care of his new international role, Fox Channels Italy achieved 32% of share on paytv, 2% of total TV viewing and was recognized as the most innovative and creative TV company and among the 10 “best companies to work in” among all categories in Italy.
Responsible for the multi-awarded Creative & Production Department which, in its first four years of existence, managed twelve italian channels (from which eight have been created locally and later distributed around the world) and served as production hub for most of Europe, while started-up teams and assisted the launch of channels all over Europe, Middle East and Asia.
This team was also the incubator of Fox Factory, the production arm of the company, which produced several successful shows for the Fox channels and also sold to free TV.
Responsible for programming, production and on air communication of the channel in Latin America & Iberia.
In only two years, the once decaying NGC moved from sixth position (among doc channels in the region) to the second, thanks to a combination of a new programming strategy, creative approach and broadcast operations, which raised viewer experience. All done while reducing operational and programming costs.
Responsible for the on air communication and original productions of the channel.
Similar story: the channel went from seventh position in the region among kids channels to the second, while reducing original production hourly costs by 50%.
